There are three different approaches that works for me when learning a new programming language.

The first method is to look at examples of code in books or on websites. This is good because you get snippets of code to try out, but it doesn’t always provide an explanation of how each part works. You can then experiment with modifying bits of the example code to see what effect it has on the rest of the program. This is a nice way to learn one specific thing at a time without having to switch between many pages and files to figure out how everything fits together as a whole.

You can also read books about JavaScript, but this doesn’t let you experiment with the code to see what happens. For some books, though, it is helpful to read a chapter or section and then try out what you learned in an online program editor that lets you type the code and see the output without having to run a program. Most of these types of editors also let you add in your own code snippets for future reference if you think of a way to do something later on. I feel like I learn more by actually typing out examples than just reading about them because when typing I am forced to get the syntax correct otherwise the interpreter will give me an error message.

The second method is using tutorials that show how to configure tools such as text editors, browser developer tools, and web servers. This lets you write code to create HTML pages that load JavaScript files for testing. I like this method because you can quickly see your changes without having to make a whole new build of the program every time you want to test one small change.

You could also use tutorials that show how to set up an integrated development environment (IDE) like NetBeans with the correct plug-ins, or install node.js and then download different versions of the required JavaScript file packages into them. Then you would be able to execute programs in real time as opposed to just running it once after building your program into an executable file like most IDE’s require. Unfortunately, not all tutorial authors do this for their readers so some tutorials can be more difficult to follow along with than others.

The third method is using the debugger that usually comes with your browser’s JavaScript console. If you define a function and call it right away, then this will cause an error message under most circumstances because you haven’t defined what the function does yet so the interpreter doesn’t know how to carry out its task. You can use breakpoints in most browsers’ JavaScript consoles to stop where you want execution to halt before a function gets called so that you can check values of variables at specific points in your program as it runs. This let’s you see if certain parts of your code are causing errors by stopping at various points throughout the execution of your program and looking at things from various angles.

The first two methods are good to use by themselves, but the third method is best used in combination with one of the other two. By using a combination of all three, you can learn any programming language much faster and understand it better than if you only use one or two methods on their own.

Specialize. I do graphics design on upvote and elance, and that is how I get many more client.

I revamped my whole profile to be a professional book cover designer. I show only book cover designs in my portfolio.

I applied only for book cover design. Which in turn caused me to learn the ins and outs of publishing a book cover, from paperback sleeves to ebook covers.

I then highlited my new found expertise in my profile. This specialization and demonstration of “know how” makes me stand out from the heard of graphics designers applying to design a book cover. I also charge more than most.

The key to success is to deliver a high quality product in a timely manner. As well as great customer service. I always make revisions untill they 100% happy. Sometimes I submit 2 or 3 designs for them to choose from. Be very responsive and open to communication. This goes a long way.

This will start to land you more jobs that you can charge a higher price for, and… excellent feedback!

It will bring repeat clients, and open up to more avenues to find new clients.

    Hope this helps.

    Relax. Slow is fast.

What I realized in my experience as designer for seven years is that when we rush we take longer in the end. Here are some reasons why:

    – we tend to have a less clear business and product strategy
    – more time is lost in rework
    – real loss of time is caused by disconnect and back and forth between various parties

In the end when more time is spent upfront understanding the design literally falls out. Here is the process we try to follow at my design firm.

I have been working on the marketing digital marketing strategies for years now and I have found many handy practices that can increase the web traffic on the designated website.

One of the easiest ways is off-page SEO. It helps to draw a lot of web traffic and online engagement on the website will keep the expenses nominal.

I recommend Press Release, as it is one of the best off-page SEO techniques that help to maximize exposure.

Why do I recommend it as the best SEO technique?

    • It is quite budget-friendly and you can even avail of a free service from legitimate websites like Issuewire.

    • Not only potential customers but it bring traffic from the news and media platforms with the proper distribution of the news-worthy content.

    • Google loves PRs with proper keywords and high ranks. As an SEO technique, press releases can put your website at a better ranking on SERP (search engine result page).

    • PR distribution also includes social media sharing which that helps to garner more traffic from Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms.

According to me, there is no other easier way than a Press Release to increase traffic on the website.

    Validate the Serial Number

Each iPhone has a serial number that identifies it. By looking up the serial number, you can verify whether or not it’s in Apple’s database. Locate the serial number on the iPhone by tapping “Settings,” choosing “General” and selecting “About.” Scroll down to “Serial Number,” and keep the screen open or write down the number. Visit “https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do” and input the serial number. The system lets you know whether or not your iPhone is still within the warranty period. If you receive the message “we’re sorry, but this serial number is not valid. Please check your information and try again,” it is likely that the iPhone is a fake.

    Visible External Clues

The iPhone is identifiable by its distinct hardware features. If you examine your iPhone, you should see a “sleep/wake” button on the top-right corner, a “Home” button centered beneath the screen, and a ringer switch and volume buttons on the upper-left side. Additionally, your iPhone should have an Apple logo imprinted on the back. If any of these components are missing or present in a different location, it’s likely that your iPhone is a fake.

    Connecting to the Carrier

The original iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS were only available on the AT&T network. AT&T is a GSM network, and only one of two such networks in the country — the other being T-Mobile. If you purchase any of these earlier iPhone models and it’s designed for a CDMA network, such as Verizon or Sprint, it’s not an original iPhone. An iPhone 4 with a SIM card slot located on the right side is designed for GSM networks, while an iPhone 4 without a SIM card slot is designed for a CDMA network. The iPhone 4S and later models are designed for use on both types of networks. Any discrepancies between hardware and connectivity indicate that the iPhone is not original.

    Network Connectivity

All iPhone models should be able to connect to Wi-Fi, EDGE and Bluetooth. All models, except the original iPhone, can also connect to the 3G data network. iPhone 6 and later models support the Near Field Communications (NFC) for Apple Pay. If you purchase an iPhone that lacks the hardware to connect to one of these networks, it is likely a fake or manufactured for use in another country. You can verify that it’s not simply a glitch by restoring your iPhone and seeing if the feature works. If it doesn’t work after being restored, it’s likely a replica iPhone.

    Syncing Your iPhone

If you purchase an iPhone that is unable to connect to iTunes or is not recognized by iTunes it could be a fake. Before coming to this conclusion, ensure that your iTunes and iOS software are both up to date. If you cannot sync information between your iPhone and your computer, attempt to restore your iPhone through iTunes. An iPhone that doesn’t connect to iTunes or the app store after being restored is either fake or damaged.

    Factory iOS Applications

The iPhone arrives with native or built in Apple-branded apps. Unless an iPhone is jailbroken, these apps cannot be removed. Some examples of built-in applications include “Contacts,” “Compass,” “Settings,” “Calculator,” “Music” and “Photos.” If any these applications are missing, the phone is jailbroken or fake. You can restore the original firmware by entering DFU mode and reinstalling the operating system. If native applications are still missing, then your iPhone is likely fake.

Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider

If your iPhone has passed several of these steps, but you still suspect that it’s a fake, bring it to your closest Apple store or Apple authorized service provider. A store technician can run diagnostic tests on your iPhone to verify its authenticity or lack of authenticity.

Unfortunately, fake versions of premium products are sold all over the world. If you’re planning to purchase an iPhone through a non-traditional seller — or if you already have — it’s important to verify the authenticity of the phone. A fake iPhone may not properly run all apps, it may not work on your carrier’s network and it’s not the product for which you paid money. Examine the phone closely to verify that it’s a real iPhone and, if all else fails, you can solicit help from an authorized retailer.

    1

Examine the screws on the iPhone. Apple uses special pentalobe screws that are star-shaped with five rounded edges and tamper-resistant. Knock-offs are unlikely to use pentalobe screws.

    2

Look at the casing and the buttons. Everything should be perfectly centered and colored to match the real iPhone. The screen will appear black when powered off. Sometimes shades or alignment will be slightly off on knock-offs. Use a picture of a real iPhone from a retailer’s website for the comparison.

    3

Look for a microSD card slot and check whether you can swap the battery. No iPhone has these features, but some fake iPhones will. A stylus will not work on a real iPhone, but may work on fake ones.

    4

Examine the packaging. Apple’s products come in quality packaging with centered logos and sealed edges. If the packaging is cheap or misprinted, it’s probably a fake iPhone.

    5

Power on the phone and make sure it’s running iOS. If it’s running a different operating system, it’s probably fake. You can check your iOS version by tapping “Settings,” “General” and “About.”

    6

Press the Home button for several seconds to launch Siri. If Siri isn’t enabled on your phone and can’t be turned on — and the phone is an iPhone 4S or later — it’s probably a fake.

Fix 1: Rollback your Wi-Fi adapter driver

This problem may occur if the current WiFi adapter driver is corrupt. So you can roll back your WiFi driver to see if it fixes the issue.

Here is how to roll back your WiFi driver:

    1. On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time, then type devmgmt.msc and click OK.
    2. Double-click on Network adapters and then double-click on your Wi-Fi adapter.
    3. Click the Driver tab > Roll Back Driver > OK.
If the Roll Back Driver button is grayed out, jump to Fix 2.
    4. Click Yes once asked to confirm the driver rollback.
    5. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
    6. Check to see if you computer can successfully detect a Wi-Fi network. If yes, then great! If it still says no WiFi networks found, please move on to Fix 2, below.

Fix 2: Reinstall your Wi-Fi driver

If rolling back the WiFi driver is no joy, you can reinstall the driver to see if it fixes the issue.

Here is how to reinstall the WiFi driver:

    1) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time, then type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

    2) Double-click on Network adapters. Then right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and click Uninstall device.

    3) Click Uninstall to proceed.

Note: You don’t need to check the box for Delete the driver software for this device unless you are certain that the current driver version is corrupt.

    4) Restart your PC.

    5) On your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time, then type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

    6) Click Action > Scan for hardware changes.

Your PC will automatically detect the missing Wi-fi driver and install it on its own.

    7) Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

    8) Check to see if your computer can connect to a WiFi network. If yes, then congrats! If the issue persists, please try Fix 3, below

Fix 3: Update your Wi-Fi driver

This problem may occur if you are using the wrong WiFi driver or it’s out of date. So you should update your WiFi driver to see if it fixes your problem. If you don’t have the time, patience or skills to update the driver manually, you can do it automatically with Driver Easy.

Driver Easy will automatically recognize your system and find the correct drivers for it. You don’t need to know exactly what system your computer is running, you don’t need to be troubled by the wrong driver you would be downloading, and you don’t need to worry about making a mistake when installing. Driver Easy handles it all.

You can update your drivers automatically with either the FREE or the Pro version of Driver Easy. But with the Pro version it takes just 2 steps (and you get full support and a 30-day money back guarantee):

    1) Download and install Driver Easy.

    2) Run Driver Easy and click the Scan Now button. Driver Easy will then scan your computer and detect any problem drivers.

    3) Click Update All to automatically download and install the correct version of ALL the drivers that are missing or out of date on your system (this requires the Pro version – you’ll be prompted to upgrade when you click Update All).

You can also click Update to do it for free if you like, but it’s partly manual.

    4) Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

    5) Check to see if the No WiFi networks found issue has been resolved. If yes, then great! If the issue still occurs, please try Fix 4, below.

Fix 4: Disable the airplane mode

Turning off the air mode is also an effective way to fix the no network found error on Windows 10 as reported by many users. To do so:

    1. Click on the network icon in the bottom right corner of your desktop.
    2. Click to make sure the Airplane mode icon is grayed out.
    3. Check if your computer can detect any Internet connections now.

Hopefully you have successfully resolved the No WiFi networks found issue by now. If you have any questions, ideas or suggestions, please let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading!
