Well, having suffered large revenue losses and several hundred potential customers due to deciding on a below-par web hosting service provider for hosting my website, I believe I should put an answer to this question so as to make your web hosting experience better and less troublesome than mine.

See, when it comes to deciding on a web host, it is imperative to avoid the ones that do not have adequate resources to keep your website live and accessible, the ones that limit your earning potential, the ones that have a poor grievance redressal mechanism and certainly the ones that consider their customers merely as a revenue stream that once acquired would keep paying for the services even when utterly dis-satisfied.

Well, to be frank, up until a few months ago, I had to go through exactly what I have mentioned above. (Name of the web host not taken to avoid harassment.)

Here, I am mentioning the Web Host that I have come to rely upon for hosting my website – My Trusted Web Host

Due to the unreliable web-hosting and extremely unusual down-time, my website, which is based on a unique idea saw a bounce rate of over 90% and an ‘average view duration’ of just 4 seconds. I immediately checked if something was wrong with my website, only to find out that it was very slow to load, despite I having optimized the pages well and often displayed ‘503 Service Unavailable’ error.

Also, the videos were not loading at all. I refreshed the page several times over a period of few hours only to face the same issues. I decided to write to the customer care team of the web host about the issue. I formulated the entire e-mail along with the screenshots of the issue that I was facing and sent it to them. I waited a few days, but didn’t receive any reply. I sent at least four e-mails before I received a reply. I was told that their technical team would work on the issue and it would get resolved in a week.

Things went fine for about two months, post which the same issues prevailed and this time I got no redressal for my grievances.

It was only in October 2020 that my fate changed for the good when a close friend of mine recommended the web host her brother had been using for his website for the past two years and she was all praises about her brother’s experience with the web hosting service provider and the heights he had reached in his online business. I was further surprised to learn that the web hosting provider happened to be the official recommendation of WordPress.

Try these when you’re feeling anxious or stressed:

    • Take a time-out. Practice yoga, listen to music, meditate, get a massage, or learn relaxation techniques. Stepping back from the problem helps clear your head.
    • Eat well-balanced meals. Do not skip any meals. Do keep healthful, energy-boosting snacks on hand.
    • Limit alcohol and caffeine, which can aggravate anxiety and trigger panic attacks.
    • Get enough sleep. When stressed, your body needs additional sleep and rest.
    • Exercise daily to help you feel good and maintain your health. Check out the fitness tips below.
    • Take deep breaths. Inhale and exhale slowly.
    • Count to 10 slowly. Repeat, and count to 20 if necessary.
    • Do your best. Instead of aiming for perfection, which isn’t possible, be proud of however close you get.
    • Accept that you cannot control everything. Put your stress in perspective: Is it really as bad as you think?
    • Welcome humor. A good laugh goes a long way.
    • Maintain a positive attitude. Make an effort to replace negative thoughts with positive ones.
    • Get involved. Volunteer or find another way to be active in your community, which creates a support network and gives you a break from everyday stress.
    • Learn what triggers your anxiety. Is it work, family, school, or something else you can identify? Write in a journal when you’re feeling stressed or anxious, and look for a pattern.
    • Talk to someone. Tell friends and family you’re feeling overwhelmed, and let them know how they can help you. Talk to a physician or therapist for professional help.

The verified badge means Facebook has confirmed that the Page or profile is the authentic presence of the public figure or brand it represents.

    Verify your profile or Page
You can fill out this form to verify your profile or page.
What are the requirements to apply for a verified badge?
We look at a number of factors when evaluating Facebook Pages and profiles to determine if they’re in the public interest and meet our verification criteria.
In addition to following Facebook’s terms of service and community standards, Pages and profiles need to be:
    • Authentic: Represent a real person, registered business or entity.
    • Unique: Be the only presence of this person or business. Only one Page or profile per person or business may be verified, with exceptions for language-specific Pages and profiles. We don’t verify general interest Pages and profiles (example: Puppy Memes).
    • Complete: Have an about section, Page or profile photo and recent activity, including at least one post.
    • Notable: Represent a well-known, often searched person, brand or entity. We review Pages and profiles that are featured in multiple news sources, and we don’t consider paid or promotional content as sources for review.
If your Page or profile doesn’t meet the criteria for a verified badge, there are other ways to let people know it’s authentic.
For example, you can link to it from an official website, Instagram profile or Twitter account.

Yes you can. Here is how:

    1. Do regular hanging exercises

Not many are aware of the fact that our height changes by an inch during the day? When we sleep, our spine stretches completely. Whereas, when we stand, the spine compresses because of our body weight. Thus, our height decreases as the day descends. But a few hanging exercises can help in sustaining our full height. Hanging exercises are helpful in strengthening our lower back and also adds muscles. It improves posture and increases muscle mass between the vertebrae.

    2. Take proper nutrition

Having a balanced and healthy diet which includes a good mix of fruits, vegetables, proteins, and carbs, can trigger growth hormones. A healthy diet acts like a fuel for the body to grow properly. It improves the rate of metabolism, increases blood circulation and also makes our bones stronger. Foods like dry fruits, lean meats, milk and leafy green vegetables should be on your list of must-haves.

    3. Do stretching exercises

People who are looking forward to increasing their height must do stretching exercises for 15 minutes every day. Exercises that involve stretching of the spine are helpful in releasing tension on the lower back. This is helpful in increasing height. Surya Namaskar is a good and effective exercise for proper stretching of the spine.

This might sound crazy, but if you want a “free unlimited storage plan for students on Google Drive,” it’s easy.

Just be a student (or staff) that is already part of an Edu GSuite domain.

Or, convince your district to “Go Google.”

I have more than 100GB of content stored on my school account & I have to say that it’s very nice knowing that there is essentially no upper limit for me.

But students be warned, once you graduate, we (it’s part of my job) give you ample notice and the appropriate tools to migrate your content to a free/personal Google account.

    Those top out at 15GB.

There is no such thing as free/unlimited Google storage unless your school signs up to be a Google Edu domain, sorry!

Google has an educational license, if your organization meets their criteria then you can get a site license, inquire within.
