১) নিচের সমস্ত তথ্য মোটের উপরে নেয়া। দেশভেদে, বিমানভেদে এবং ফ্লাইটের ডিউরেশনভেদে খরচ এদিক সেদিক হতে পারে।

২) এয়ারবাস A-320 কে এখানে মডেল ধরে খরচের হিসাব করা হয়েছে। ভিন্ন ভিন্ন বিমানের জন্য খরচও ভিন্ন রকম।

৩) বেশ কিছু খরচের হিসাব ২০১৪ এবং ২০১৬ এর আলোকে নেয়া। বর্তমান খরচ তাই আরও বেশী হওয়াটাই স্বাভাবিক।

এবার চলুন মূল উত্তরে যাওয়া যাক।

বিমান ভাড়া বেশী হওয়ার পিছনে আসলে বেশ কয়েকটি যৌক্তিক কারণ রয়েছে। এয়ারলাইন্সগুলোর খরচের দিকে যদি আমরা একটু তাকাই, তাহলে বিষয়টি অনেকটাই পরিস্কার হয়ে যাবে।

• বিমানের দাম একটি বড় বিষয়।

যদি এয়ারবাস A-320 এর কথা বলি, এটির যাত্রী ধারণক্ষমতা হল ১৫৪ জন এবং এটির দাম প্রায় ১০ কোটি ৭০ লাখ মার্কিন ডলার। ধরা হয়ে থাকে বিমানগুলো প্রায় ৬০ হাজার বার ওঠানামা করতে সক্ষম , সেক্ষেত্রে ফ্লাইট প্রতি খরচ পড়ে প্রায় ১৭৮৩ মার্কিন ডলার। সুতরাং একটি ‘হাউজফুল’ ফ্লাইটের ক্ষেত্রে প্রতি যাত্রীদের মাথাপিছু খরচ পড়ছে প্রায় সাড়ে ১১ ডলার।

• বিমানের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণ

একটি ফ্লাইটের আগে পরে বিমানের রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের পিছনে ২০০০ ডলারের আশেপাশে খরচ হয়, যার ফলে যাত্রীদের মাথাপিছু খরচ পড়ে প্রায় ১৪ ডলার।

• পাইলট এবং ফ্লাইট অ্যাটেনডেন্টদের বেতন

একজন পাইলট বাৎসরিক গড়ে ৭০ হাজার মার্কিন ডলার বেতন পেয়ে থাকেন। (এটি বিমানের উপরে অনেকখানি নির্ভর করে। বাংলাদেশে ইউএস বাংলা এয়ারলাইন্স এর ড্যাশ 8 এর পাইলটরা বছরে প্রায় ৩০ হাজার ডলারের মত বেতন পান, আবার ‘বিমান’ এর বোয়িং ৭৭৭ এর পাইলটরা বছরে প্রায় ১ লাখ ডলার বেতন পান।) এক বছরে যদি তিনি ১৮০০ ঘন্টা বিমান চালনা করেন, সেক্ষেত্রে ফ্লাইট ঘন্টাপ্রতি তিনি ৩৯ ডলার পাচ্ছেন (বাৎসরিক ৭০ হাজার মার্কিন ডলার হিসেবে)। কো-পাইলট বা ফার্স্ট অফিসার পাইলটের প্রায় অর্ধেক কিংবা ৬০% বেতন পেয়ে থাকেন। সুতরাং পাইলট এবং কো-পাইলটদের বেতন বাবদ এয়ারলাইন্স এর ঘন্টাপ্রতি খরচ পড়ে প্রায় ৬০ ডলার। ১ জন ফ্লাইট অ্যাটেনডেন্ট এর ঘন্টাপ্রতি বেতন প্রায় ১৫ ডলার। এয়ারবাস A-320 তে ফ্লাইট অ্যাটেনডেন্ট থাকেন সাধারণত ৪ জন। ফলে তাদের বেতন দাঁড়াচ্ছে ঘন্টাপ্রতি ৬০ ডলার। তাহলে ঘন্টাপ্রতি এঁদের বেতন বাবদ যাত্রীদের মাথাপিছু খরচ পড়ছে ১ ডলার এরও কম।

• যাত্রীদের খাবার

লম্বা ফ্লাইটে যাত্রীদের ২ বার এবং ছোট ফ্লাইটে ১ বার খাবার পরিবেশন করা হয়ে থাকে। এখানে যাত্রীপ্রতি প্রতিবারে প্রায় ৫ ডলারের মত ব্যয় হয়।

• এয়ারপোর্ট ব্যাবহারের জন্য চার্জ

প্রত্যেক বিমানবন্দর প্রতি ১০০০ পাউন্ড/কেজি ভর টেইক অফ এর জন্য বিভিন্ন পরিমাণ টাকা চার্জ করে থাকে। বাংলাদেশের হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর ১০ হাজার কেজি ভরের নিচে প্রতি হাজার কেজিতে ৫’২৫ ডলার চার্জ করে থাকে। বিভিন্ন টেইক অফ ওয়েট এর রেঞ্জ অনুযায়ী এই চার্জেরও হেরফের হয়। DAC (হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর) এর এই চার্জ সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত জানা যাবে এখানে। এয়ারবাস A-320 এর সাধারণ টেইক অফ ভর থাকে প্রায় ৮০ হাজার কেজি। সে হিসাবে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দর থেকে একটি এয়ারবাস A-320 এর উড্ডয়নবাবদ খরচ পড়ে প্রায় ৭৮০ ডলার। ফলে যাত্রীপিছু খরচ পড়ছে ৫ ডলার।

• ট্যাক্স ট্যাক্স এবং ট্যাক্স

এয়ারলাইন্সদের এয়ারপোর্টে বিমান রাখা বাবদও একটি অর্থ প্রদান করতে হয়। এছাড়াও ট্রাভেল ট্যাক্স, কার্বন ট্যাক্স, সার্জ চার্জ ইত্যাদি নানান রকম ট্যাক্স দেয়া বাবদ এয়ারলাইন্সগুলোর একটি বড় এমাউন্টের অর্থ চলে যায়।

• ফুয়েল

খুব বড় খরচের জায়গা মনে হলেও যাত্রীপিছু ফুয়েল খরচ আহামরি কিছু না। একটি এয়ারবাস A-320 প্রতি গ্যালন ফুয়েলে প্রায় ‘৬৭ মাইল যেতে পারে। আমেরিকান ব্যুরো অফ ট্রান্সপোর্ট স্ট্যাটিস্টিক্স অনুযায়ী আমেরিকান এয়ারলাইন্সগুলো গড়ে গ্যালনপ্রতি মাত্র ১’২৪ ডলার ব্যয় করে থাকে।

• এয়ারলাইন্স এর অফিস এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তাদের বেতন বাবদ খরচ

এই জিনিসটির সঠিক ধারণা করা আসলে খুবই কঠিন, কারণ বিভিন্ন দেশে শ্রমের মূল্য বিভিন্ন রকম। তবুও মোটামুটিভাবে বলা যায় এর পিছনে যাত্রীপিছু খরচ হয় প্রায় ১০ ডলার।

• বিমানের ইন্স্যুরেন্স

এয়ারবাস A-320 এর ইন্স্যুরেন্স বাবদ এয়ারলাইন্সকে বাৎসরিক প্রায় ১০৬৫০০ ডলার দিতে হয়। এক্ষেত্রে ঘন্টাপ্রতি ফ্লাইটের জন্য যাত্রীপিছু প্রায় ০’২৫ ডলার খরচ হয়।

তো, এই এতসব খরচের জন্য বিমান ভাড়াটা একটু বেশীই। তবে উন্নতমানের ডিজাইন, এফিশিয়েন্ট ইঞ্জিন, এবং বিমান তৈরীর কাঁচামালের উন্নতির কারণে বিমান ভাড়া আগের তুলনায় এখন অনেক কম। তবুও, যেহেতু টাইম ইজ মানি, মানি ইজ টাইম, তাই বিমানে চড়ার জন্য কিছুটা বেশী খরচ আপনাকে করতেই হবে।

১. Buddytalk : ইংরেজি শিখতে গেলে কথা বলার কোন বিকল্প নেই৷ কিন্তু আমরা সচরাচর কথা বলতে পারি না কথা বলার পার্টনার না পাওয়ায়। তাই আমাদের ইচ্ছা থাকলেও উপায় না থাকার কারণে আমরা ইংরেজিতে কথা বলতে ভয় পাই। এই অ্যাপটির মাধ্যমে আপনি ইংরেজিতে কথা বলার পার্টনার খুজে পাবেন।

২. : Moon+Reader :মোবাইলে কিংবা ট্যাবে বই পড়ার জন্য এর চেয়ে ভালো অ্যাপ আছে কিনা আমার জানা নেই। এই অ্যাপটির সাইজও খুব কম। অ্যাপের মাঝেই আপনি খুজে নিতে পারেন আপনার পছন্দের বইটি। এই অ্যাপটি ফোনে থাকা মানে আস্ত একটা লাইব্রেরি থাকা।

৩. Photomath: হঠাৎ গণিতের একটা প্রশ্ন সমাধান করতে গিয়ে সমস্যায় পড়লেন। ঐ সময় আপনার সাথে কেউ নেই যে আপনাকে বুঝিয়ে দেবে। এমতাবস্থায় এই অ্যাপে গিয়ে প্রশ্নটির একখানা ছবি তুইলেই সাথে সাথে স্টেপ বাই স্টেপ সলিউশন দেবে এই অ্যাপটি।

৪. Robi 10 Minute School: শীঘ্রই এসএসসি পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। কেমন হয় যদি হাতের কাছের মোবাইল ফোনটা দিয়ে মডেল টেস্ট পরীক্ষা দিয়ে নিজেকে ঝালিয়ে নেওয়া যায়৷ এই অ্যাপটি আপনার পড়াশোনা কিছুটা হলেও সহজ করে দিবে। আপনি যে গ্রেডেরই হন না কেন আপনার জন্য এডুকেশনাল কন্টেন্ট রয়েছে এই অ্যাপে।

৫. Camscanner: বন্ধুর কাছে তার নোট খাতাটা ধার নিলেন। তো তার নোটখাতাটি তাকে দিয়ে দেওয়ার আগে আপনি যদি দ্রুতই তার নোট খাতাটির একটা পিডিএফ ফাইল তৈরি করে নিজের ফোনে রাখেন তাহলে কেমন হয়? এই অ্যাপটি আপনাকে যেকোনো ডকুমেন্ট স্কান করে দিতে পারবে। একেবারে কম্পিউটারের স্ক্যানারের মতো।

Some users even dig deeper into the app to understand if truecaller is safe at all to use. Here are few findings i could gather from other users:

1. Truecaller create financial risk profile of its users without their knowledge. Please stop this, Truecaller was meant to be a spam blocker, how could it get into this sensitive zone?
2. Truecaller also creates brand affinity profiles. If i prefer amazon over flipkart, truecaller know about it and might sell this information to flipkart for marketing purpose. You start with blocking the spam and now also feeding the data to increase the spam.

1. Rest: If you want to be ready mentally and physically, you will need to rest a bit before the big day. Go on holiday, travel, make sports, sleep a lot, be sure not to be sick. Make yourself pleasure. The next weeks might be a bit more stressful, better be in good condition to be effective.
2. Smile: Ok, you are stressed, you will have to perform but what makes the first impression is the human contact. Smiling is a worldwide accepted method to look sympathetic. Why not using this? You will have plenty of occasions to show to you are a performer, start by convincing your new colleagues that you are a pleasant person.
3. Prepare: This is obvious, but still, it needs to be done. Call friends or LinkedIn contacts that work/have worked in your new company to know exactly the typical day, the usages, the persons, etc. The best way to prepare is to have insiders information or experiences. Be prepared for the company, but also prepare for your position, your strategy. Picture yourself in two years: where do you want to be? And what is your strategy to achieve this?

6. Be Yourself : I think that this is most probably the biggest mistake new recruits might be doing. While being over-stressed, you might be tempted to overplay, exaggerate or on the contrary: being introvert as hell. Don’t do that. Be yourself, Trust yourself, dear to show the world who you are.

Probably, You might be unaware of the fact that your Windows 10 has an inbuilt option of the recording screen. This screen recorder is meant for recording games. But you can use it for recording your screen whenever wants to record any video for your channel etc. To start your recording you would need to follow these steps.

• Go to the search option of your Windows 10 PC. On the search bar, you will need to type ‘XBOX’ in the box given. After typing click on the enter and search for the app, or you may directly go the menu and look for Xbox app.
• It will open the Xbox app in your PC.
• Now, you would need to open the game bar, with which you would be able to record screen. To open, press the ‘Windows’ key and ‘G’ key together on your keyboard.
• If for any reason your game bar doesn’t loads, you can open it by clicking on Start > Settings > Gaming > game bar. Here make sure that the toggle option of the game bar is on.

• On the game bar, you would have to turn in the toggle option “record game clips, screenshots and broadcast using game bar”.
• On the same page, check the shortcut of “start/stop recording” which you will get under keyboard shortcuts head. This shortcut would be needed to start or stop the recording of your screen. By default this shortcut would be “Win+Alt+R”, but if you want, you can change the same into your preferred one.

• Now go to the navigation menu you would get in the left and switch to the game DVR page. Here you can set the specific recording settings. Background recording is useful only when recording games.
• On scrolling the page, you would get the settings of audio and video of the recording. There is a toggle option for audio “record audio when I record a game”, this option when will be turned off will disable audio recording. On the turning it on, you can use “turn on the mic by default when I record” button which will let you control microphone recording.
• With the help of two volume sliders, you can adjust the microphone volume.
• Now to record your screen, click on the record button or you may use the shortcut “Win+Alt+R” to start recording the screen.
• To stop the recording you can click on the stop button. The recorded screen video will get saved in your “Videos/Capture” folder automatically.

Now, this is supposed to be my personal opinion based on my usage of both the Instant Messaging applications.

The choice here is purely personal and according to what you think is the better choice for you.

So, I would just put forth a brief idea about the features of Telegram and how it stacks against WhatsApp, the most popular IM out there.

• User Base –

This is somewhere Telegram is far behind WhatsApp at the moment, but is growing steadily. WhatsApp has had far more years of experience and development than Telegram did. Telegram is new to the IM scene, and it entered the market at a time when WhatsApp was ruling the Instant Messaging game and brought about a revolution of free-of-cost text messaging. Another reason is that people resist change and see it as being negative. They only follow what their peers use and hence Telegram lacks the user base and market share WhatsApp currently enjoys.

• Availability-

Telegram is available over most of the operating platforms people use. You can use Telegram on Android, iOS and even on Windows Phones. It has dedicated applications for Windows OS, MacOS and Linux as well.

WhatsApp lacks behind in such wide range of availability on different platforms.

• Cross Platform Usage –

Now this has got to be the best feature about Telegram.

Telegram is totally cloud based IM application. They use a login based system to get into your account and everything syncs to your device including your chats, photos, videos and contacts as well.

Another great feature is that you can simultaneously login to your account over different devices all at the same time.

So you can leave a conversation on your phone and continue that on your work PC or laptop.

You have a dedicated menu option to view all your active Telegram sessions on different devices. This is to provide extra security and to be aware of the devices currently logged into your account. You can terminate any session from inside this menu.

This marvelous feature is something WhatsApp does not provide.

• Privacy –

Privacy settings on Telegram are some of the best ones I have seen around on IMs.

Furthermore, Telegram associates an account with a phone number as well as an username. So if you’re not sure about giving someone your personal phone number, you can just share your username to connect and stay in touch, while the other person would never get to know your cell number (unless you decide to tell them yourself)

Somewhat extra privacy, that is not available to WhatsApp users.

• Groups, Supergroups & Channels

WhatsApp does not even compare to the groups and channels that are provided by Telegram. You can join by an invite or a specified link. There are supergroups with max user limit of 5000 (WhatsApp doesn’t even compare). Then there are channels, which broadcasts content over to the members of the particular channel, the content varies from news, memes, videos, movies (HD), music, TV shows and much more. You can download any of the above content from a channel. (Admins of the channel take full advantage of the sweet file sharing capabilities on Telegram)

• File Sharing

Telegram has better file sharing capabilities than WhatsApp (by a huge margin). The photos you share are not highly compressed and pixelated (like WhatsApp does). There are no limits on video file sizes. Hence, channels broadcast movies in HD quality, which you can download.

Taking advantage of the cloud system Telegram is based on, you can download a particular file multiple times, on multiple platforms if you want.

WhatsApp doesn’t allow this – once you delete a photo or video, there is no way to re-download it.

• Secret Chats (end-to-end encryption)

Using a cloud based messaging service meant that Telegram could not offer end-to-end encryption, like WhatsApp does. They addressed this issue by introducing Secret Chats, which provide end-to-end encryption. These chats have self destructing messages and no content is saved on the cloud. So if you log out of a device, the chat would be lost forever.

• Artificial Intelligence based Bots

Telegram has bot-support. So, developers can publish their bots and people can use them for stuff like fetching weather info, news headlines and even play games.

Pretty cool feature (although, needs a lot of work and development right now)

However, there are certain features like Voice Calling and Video Calling on WhatsApp which trump out Telegram. The reason is simple, WhatsApp had enough time to develop and improve their application, Telegram is new and just launched it’s voice calling feature.

The thing to note is that, Telegram is growing at such an enormous pace even with such huge competition from world leading IM WhatsApp, recently acquired by a deep pocket MNC – Facebook.

In my opinion, Telegram is far better than any IM out there. I would place my bets on Telegram to put WhatsApp behind in a few years.

Telegram is going to leave WhatsApp in the dust.
