You don’t need a plug in – here is the cheat route

find all the social icons you want on the internet and save them to your computer

go to “add post” or “add page” and insert each icon – link them to your facebook, twitter etc – make sure they all open in a new window

resize them – space them like you want – etc – then go the html portion of the new post or page – copy all that code and paste it into a text widget box – voila

you can even save this as a draft or private page and name it something like social media – incase you need it again
