I think you are talking about “on page” and not “one page” SEO. There can be a considerable list of things that you can consider in SEO as a whole. But because you are talking about on-page SEO, here are a few pointers you can consider.
1. H Tags
The use of the heading tags is a must if you want to format your blog post more correctly. It not only gives a cool visual but also helps readers in knowing which a new point is.
2. Bolds and Italics
Making the key points in bolds is quite good. It instantly catches the attention of the readers and gives them what they want to know in a nutshell.
3. Keyword in Title
This is quite important. Google searches for keywords and if they are found in the title, it gives you more chances for your article to get searched.
4. Keyword in URL
Having the same keyword in the URL adds the punch you would need if you are writing from the SEO point of view. For that, you might need to optimize your keywords.
5. Keyword Usage
Make sure your keywords are spread around correctly and rightly. Rightly, I mean, they should appear in the title and the first sentence of the story. And it makes even great to add at least one instance at the end.
6. Correct Usage
Do not over-optimize or under optimize your keyword usage. Around 2 percent would ideally suit.
7. Images
When using images, make sure you are using alt tags, preferably, again having the keywords you are focusing.
