Why this photo breaking phones after setting this as walpaper?
I see online posts that this photo kills android phones specially samsung phone. what’s the reason behind it?
The picture is said to activate a bug in the Android software that results in a phone being ‘soft-bricked’.
This means your device may appear to be working but it keeps crashing.
This is seemingly because Android attempts to display the sRGB colour space, but the image uses the RGB colour space. Since Android 10 does not convert one to another, the image crashes smartphones, but Android 11 converts unconverted colour spaces and as such devices are unaffected.
